Stress can be understood as ‘striving to meet a demand’. This can be really beneficial at times- it helps you to be motivated, concentrated, and productive- but it can also get to a stage where it begins to cause you harm.
There’s 4 main types of stress. Time Stress eg. deadlines and meetings at a specific time. Anticipatory Stress eg. fear of something in the future. Situational Stress eg. something happening you didn’t predict. Encounter Stress eg. being around someone who makes you feel uneasy.
Stress has a few different symptoms that show themselves in your body. The most likely ones are feeling sick, getting lots of headaches, and struggling to sleep.
